Limits to Confidentiality
As a licensed MFT, I am bound by law to maintain 100% confidentiality excepting the following three circumstances.
- If you sign a confidentiality waiver asking/allowing me to consult with someone regarding your treatment.
- If you pose a serious threat to hurt yourself or someone else.
- If I suspect the abuse or endangerment of an elder, of a dependent adult, or.of a child (including generating, accessing, distributing, exchanging images and/or videos in which a child is engaged in an act of obscene sexual conduct).
